Many people like to serve ham for their holiday meal, especially at Easter. This recipe is ideal for a small number of guests, without spending a long time in the kitchen or ending up with too many left-overs...
2 tbsp | butter, unsalted | 28 g
2 slices | smoked ham, about ½ cm thick | 260 g
2 slices | canned pineapple, with their juice | 70 g
1 tsp | cornstarch | 3 g | |
1 tsp | lemon juice, freshly squeezed | 1/4 lemon |
Put the serving plates in the oven at the lowest setting to keep the ham slices warm while making the sauce.

Absolutely delicious and I'm not ham fan. I didn't change a thing in this recipe. Just remember to put about 3 parts of pineapple to one part lemon and the lemon should not be overpowering.
Not usually ham fan, especially baked. But this method makes a tasty piece. Agree to watch you lemon/pineapple ratio as that sauce can be quite sour (good sour).
