Ginger Grapes in Port-wine

Ingredients

3 cups grapes, seedless 300 g
1/4 cup Port wine 65 mL
1/2 tbsp gingerroot, grated 7 g

Method

  1. Using a scissor, cut the grapes into small 4-5 berry clusters. Put them into a thick plastic bag and pour in the Port wine. Add the grated ginger and close the bag tightly, squeezing out the air and making sure the berries are well covered with wine.
  2. Let macerate in the refrigerator at least 8 h.
  3. Take out of the refrigerator 15-20 min before serving. Portion out into transparent cups and serve.
