Ingredients

2 potatoes 400 g
1 pinch salt [optional] 0.2 g

Method

Cut the potatoes into large chunks or leave them whole. Put in a pot, cover with cold water, then bring to a boil. Add salt (about 1 teaspoon of salt for one litre of water). Cover, then reduce the heat to keep the water boiling at a minimum. Whole potatoes will cook in about 20 min; potatoes cut into chunks will do in 10 to 15 min.
